Facts: Sevilla is the 4th largest town in Spain with 700,000 inhabitants and is the capital of Andalusia (the most southern region of Spain). It is located 80 km from the coast of Andalusia on the banks of the Guadalquivir, a navegable river stretching to the Atlantic ocean. From Sevilla you can easily reach Portugal; Granada and Malaga are also close. The town has a Mediterranean climate with more than 300 days of sun a year.

Sevilla University (Pablo Olavide)
About the University: Pablo de Olavide University of Sevilla is located about 5 miles from the old centre of Sevilla and is easily accessible by public transport and within a 15-20 minutes bus ride.
Pablo de Olavide University offers both long and short term courses taught by qualified teachers who are also specially trained to teach Spanish to Foreigners.
Spanish courses are taught on modern premises that are shared by Spanish students studying foreign languages. Students also have access to all the university's installations.

CLIC Sevilla
About the School: CLIC was founded in 1983 in Sevilla and is a member of the international language organization IH with more than 130 language schools all over the world.
The school is situated close to the Cathedral and the Royal Palaces in the old part of Sevilla.
As CLIC is also specialized in teaching foreign languages to Spanish students, it is easy to mix with native Spanish speakers. All the teachers are native Spanish speakers with specific training in teaching Spanish as a foreign language, undergoing continuous training that enables them to teach Spanish for specific purposes such as Spanish for Business or Spanish Culture, History and Literature.

Sevilla is a typical Andalusian town where the people are very friendly and open to conversation. As the capital of Andalusia and after having arranged important international events like the Expo 92 and the world championship in athletics in 1999, the town has a perfect infrastructure and many public facilities. We recommend Sevilla for students who wish to study in an exciting town with a lot of fun, but with a lot of other foreign students and tourists. The town gets very hot and dry from July to September with average temperatures above 40ºC (105ºF).
